Our Auckland City branch is in Eden Terrace, about 2 km from the Sky Tower and a 5-minute drive from the CBD. Collect your car from the portable office in the yard at 112 New North Road. It’s handy for hotels in the CBD, Newmarket and Ponsonby, and for business travellers heading out of town.

Grafton and Mt Eden train stations are both a short walk away, and buses along New North Road and Symonds Street stop nearby. From the CBD, a taxi or rideshare takes about 5 minutes.
Return the car to the yard during opening hours. After-hours returns by prior arrangement (NZ$45 after-hours fee). There is no customer parking at the branch.
Head up Queen Street or Symonds Street to Karangahape Road, then take New North Road towards Eden Terrace. Minnie Street is off New North Road.
Take SH20 north, then SH16 east towards the city, and exit at Newton Road

For the CBD alone, public transport works well. A car pays off for day trips to Piha, Muriwai, the Waiheke ferry terminals, the Coromandel or Hobbiton.
A full driver licence held for at least 1 year and a Visa or Mastercard credit card in the main driver’s name. Overseas visitors need their original licence plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) or an approved English translation if the licence isn’t in English.
Yes. A bond of up to NZ$3,500 is held on your credit card. It is reduced to NZ$200 if you take our full insurance.
Drivers aged 21–24 pay a young driver fee of about NZ$100 per rental.
